Chief Operating Officer
(COO)
As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) reporting directly to the CEO, you will be a key member of the executive management team, responsible for overseeing the organization’s ongoing operations and procedures. You will play a crucial role in the strategic leadership of the company, driving operational excellence and ensuring the achievement of business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Oversee the entire business operation and contribute to the company’s strategic direction and long-term planning.
- Financial Management: Manage and direct company operations to meet budget and financial goals, ensuring P&L targets are consistently achieved.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Operational Policies: Develop, establish, and direct the execution of operating policies and procedures to support overall company objectives.
- Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiation and legal activities, including customer contracts, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents.
- Customer Service & NOC Management: Ensure the highest standards of customer service and oversee Network Operations Center (NOC) management.
- Sales & Business Development: Temporarily manage the sales and business development team until a VP of Sales is appointed.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, law, or business management; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience as a top operations executive (CEO, COO, or VP of Operations) with a proven track record in managing business functions such as HR, Legal, Finance, Marketing, and Development.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of business financials, budgets, and P&L management with a history of achieving financial targets.
- Legal Knowledge: Proficient in business law topics, including contracts and legal entity structures.
- Operational Expertise: Proven experience in defining and scaling operational processes, both internally and with external partners.
- Leadership Skills: Excellent people management skills, with the ability to inspire and partner with a dynamic leadership team.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong strategic and analytical skills to support and drive company growth.
- Language Proficiency: Fluent in English.
- Attitude: A proactive, “can-do” attitude with a willingness to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
